How do the home classification rules change for DAS?
a)
Ideally, all consumers desirous of continuing to receive C&S channels on their
TV set/s in the DAS areas will have a STB with a valid C&S subscription from
a Cable, DTH or IPTV operator before November 1
st
2012.
As homes migrate from analog to digital, they will immediately get classified
as “C&S Digital”. In fact, this is what happens even currently. This rule will
also extend to NCS homes which migrate to digital during this phase.
